How to prevent the powder coating of the security screen from falling off

Hebei Maishi is a professional security screen manufacturer in China. Our security screens have very strong powder coating attachment. Then how do we prevent the powder coating from falling off?

1) Good Powder.
MAISHI uses good quality powder. That means the particle size of the powder is even and has the same size. So the powder can be melted sufficiently at the high temperature, thus making a strong attachment to the wire.

2) Right Temperature
Temperature is a very important factor that affects the attachment of the powder. Before the security screen go to the spray chamber, the drying oven temperature must reach or more than 200 degrees. We always heated to 210±5℃, melting the powder time control in 18-20mins to make the powder be melted sufficiently, to avoid the powder coating falling off.

3) Clean Mesh
To ensure the strong attachment of the powder, another very important factor is to keep the mesh clean before powder coating. That means the mesh surface can not have dust or grease. MAISHI usually does twice cleaning before powder coating. After the stainless steel mesh rolls are woven, we will clean the mesh then flatten and cut into pieces. And before powder coating, meshes will be washed by acid to remove oil and burrs on the mesh surface again, thus ensuring the total cleanness of the mesh surface.

4)Flat Surface
The powder is easy to be attached tightly to a flat surface. But if the mesh surface is curvy, the powder can not be attached to the wire very well, and that will be a source of the powder falling off. So a flat surface is also very important to ensure the strong powder attachment.
